EasyStreet's core management team has been in place since the business was founded in 1995, consistently demonstrating high standards of performance both individually and collectively. EasyStreet has been profitable since its founding. For customers, this operating discipline ensures availability of adequate financial resources and continuity of services. And with majority control remaining with the management team, EasyStreet is insulated from outside interests and remains able to focus on creating value for its customers.

EasyStreet is managed by a team of high-tech executives—several with previous entrepreneurial experience—from organizations such as Intel, Tektronix, and VMware. The executive team is notable for its breadth of management experience and technological savvy, all focused on operating a lean and profitable operation dedicated to achieving extraordinary levels of customer satisfaction.

Rich Bader, President & CEO (Co-founder)

Rich is the driving force behind EasyStreet's growth and success. His rare blend of broad technological expertise and entrepreneurial spirit have made him a guiding light in the Oregon high-tech community. Prior to founding EasyStreet he:

  • Earned a BSEE from Northeastern University.
  • Founded Intel's Personal Computer Enhancement Operation.
  • Served as an industry guru and analyst for Stewart Alsop's PC Letter.
  • Consulted for HP, Intel, Microsoft, Tektronix, PictureTel, Quarterdeck and Prodigy on matters of technology implementation and infrastructure management.

Rich is on the board and executive committee of the Software Association of Oregon and the board of the Open Technology Business Center. He recently was appointed to the Oregon Growth Account board by Oregon Gov. Ted Kulongoski.

John Beaston, Vice President Customer Services (Co-founder)

John's passion is keeping customers delighted with EasyStreet services — where things just magically work as they should. He is where the buck stops for EasyStreet services. It is said that all EasyStreet customers have John in their address books. Prior to EasyStreet, he:

  • Attended school for too long but earned a BSEE from Bradley University, MSEE from University of Illinois, MA from Pacific University.
  • Taught technology and advanced mathematics in a variety of settings from university, community college and high school.
  • Spent 20 years at Intel doing everything from memory chip design to being an American technical accent in Europe to definition work on the first generation of PC fax boards and video conferencing.
  • Managed the technical marketing and customer support centers for Intel on the Pentium, Multibus and ProShare Video product lines.

John oversees a team of technical folk committed to customer satisfaction and skilled at solving technical problems.

Russ Sprunger, Vice President Sales & Marketing

Russ's extensive high-tech background—much of it helping companies strategically align their technologies for success—enables him to effectively match EasyStreet solutions to customer needs. Prior to EasyStreet, he:

  • Earned a math/physics BA from Lakeland College and MS in Computer Science from Purdue.
  • Co-founded in 1981 Graphic Software Systems (GSS), a leader in graphics programming and network connectivity.
  • Managed GSS, sales, marketing and operations functions over a 12-year period.
  • Consulted for numerous companies on software, hardware, online services and strategic Internet implementations.

Russ has a proven record of helping customers determine effective and scalable services from the outset of their relationship with EasyStreet and has been key to the company's high level of customer satisfaction.

Jim Ravelli, Vice President Service Delivery

Jim has extensive experience directing IT architecture, systems development, infrastructure and strategy of companies from start-ups to the Fortune 100. His proven record of exceeding customer expectations of performance, scalability and reliability are key to EasyStreet customer satisfaction. Prior to EasyStreet, he:

  • Earned a BS in engineering from Arizona State University.
  • Founded Archinetix for infrastructure and network consulting with Intel, Synopsys, Portal Software and others as customers.
  • Served as CIO and IT Director for Brocade Communications, responsible for worldwide computing infrastructure and applications.
  • Was Senior Director of Global IT Operations for VMware, overseeing all facets of the computing infrastructure.

Jim's role at EasyStreet includes planning, directing and managing internal and external IT services, with an emphasis on ensuring capability, quality and long-term reliability.

Jon Crowhurst, Director of Technical Services (Co-founder)

Jon is expert in design, installation and maintenance of Internet points of presence, local and wide area networks and computer systems management. Prior to EasyStreet, Jon:

  • Earned degrees from the University of Oregon in Computer Science and Geography.
  • Served as director for 12 years of computing and networking for the Oregon Graduate Institute.
  • Performed strategic consulting services for OGI Telecomm, Pacific University and NorthWestNet.

Jon manages the technical operations critical to EasyStreet's key services, including the Network Operations Center and the managed-servers area.
